Founded by Kim Letven and Arturo Bárcenas in 1998, NV Design Architecture is recognized for its thoughtful, context-driven approach. The studio combines clarity and simplicity with a deep respect for place. Their portfolio spans urban planning, adaptive reuse, and multifamily housing, with projects ranging from contemporary residences in Mexico to meticulous restorations across Brooklyn.
One such restoration of a 19th-century brownstone earned the firm a Lucy G. Moses Preservation Award in 2010, and the American Institute of Architects honored their work on Brooklyn’s historic Dudley Memorial townhouse in 2016.
